Livvy made it through her first official night in her new home state! We arrived at the veterinarian's farm this morning around 8:30 a.m. We called Livvy's name on the way up to her, and she was up and ready to greet us when we reached the shed gate. She definitely seems to know us already. We spent a lot of time brushing her and talking to her. She is even more lovely today.
We returned to the farm around 3:00 p.m. and were so pleased to see that Livvy had been turned out! There she was, little Olivia standing out in the middle of this big pasture!
We spent a couple of hours with her; talking to her, brushing her, and rubbing the sides of her face (she LOVES this). She wandered around the pasture once or twice, never going too far away from us, and when it came time for us to leave, we had a personal "escort" to the pasture gate! Apparently, Olivia thought if she just walked quietly along with us we would all go home together!
We are already in love with her!
