We just heard from Kim, Olivia's driver. He said they are about an hour away from his home in Indiana. The temperature has been brutal, the roads icy, and he had some trouble with his fuel line today and had to stop at a truck stop to deal with it. He said there are trucks broken down all over the place due to the frigid temperatures.

Livvy was off trailer twice today - Kim says she is doing fine, eating and drinking. No worries there, he assures us. When he gets to his place tonight, he will unload the horses and they will spend the night in his stable. Tomorrow, he is taking a different truck and will head east.

He said he would call us again tomorrow night to let us know how Livvy is and where they are. Not sure that Sunday will be the day of her arrival. If not Sunday, then surely Monday.

The owner of the stable where Olivia will live called today. She can't wait for her arrival! She said she shows everyone Livvy's picture and the anticipation is growing (I think it has been a while since there has been a foal at the farm there)!

Another stable owner up the road has a young filly as well and when she heard that Olivia was coming, she said she plans to bring her filly to the farm to meet Olivia for a play date.

Such silliness!!!!!
